The film cast vijay and Asin in the lead roles vijay will paly the role done by Dileep while Asin is going to do Nayanthara's role in the Malayalam original.
vijay was shown the preview the movie along with his wife earlier and vijay liked the script and immediately expressed his wish to remake it in tamil.
Director siddique says,Actually when narrated Body guard story to vijay two years back he way very keen to do it first in tamil.
